N.J. man masturbated on subway, police say

NORTH BERGEN — A North Bergen man has been arrested after allegedly masturbating on a Manhattan-bound subway line on March 19, according to the New York City Police Department.
On March 21, the department tweeted a photo of a man wanted for masturbating on the R train, asking for tips.
According to police, at 3:10 p.m. on March 19, when the "R" train was entering the Elmhurst Avenue subway station, the suspect "put his hand inside his pants and masturbated as he stared" at a 33-year-old woman.

He exited the train at the 59th Street station, police said.
On Tuesday, the suspect — Haljilj Hodzic, 20, of North Bergen — was arrested, according to a police officer who works for the department's public information office.
Officials said in a press release that the photos were taken by the victim with her cell phone.
Hodzic was charged with public lewdness, disorderly conduct and harassment, according to the public information officer.
