Watch an actor playing Jesus Christ fall from a towering cross during a crucifixion re-enactment.
Prensa Libre, which posted the video to YouTube, reported that the accident occurred in Guatemala on Good Friday. Some outlets noted that the man was not hurt, but that was not confirmed.
The dramatic footage received hundreds of thousands of views on a Facebook page called “Operaciones especiales México.”

In the clip, the actor is helped up a ladder to a cross held upright by ropes. As the actor moves into place, the cross begins to tip over. The man falls, grabbing one of the ropes to break his fall.
